Retake GMAT Strategies

Thanks for the comments/advice baer. Yes, I figured that the 1000 series is not going to be of much help to me at this point.

I think I did poor on the quant. because I spent too much time on a few questions in the beginning of the test. I also panicked upon seeing a few questions which I hadn't come across before. The combination of the two resulted in a mess; I didn't pace and I guessed blindly on the last 8-10 questions just to get my answers marked.

On the verbal, I think that I wasn't critical enough of my answer choices. I did not double check any of them and actually felt pretty confident that I was doing alright. Overconfidence killed me I suppose.

Moving forward, I am planning to start doing the GMAT challenges to improve my comfort level with all question types and improve my understanding of concepts. I'm going to maintain an error log for the next 2 weeks and see how that works out for me.

What are you doing differently/additionally this time? 670 is a respectable score but of course, 700+ would be better right?
