Simon called and told me they really wanted my application, offered deadline extensions and whatever assistance I needed.

UC Irvine told you that if you apply you will get a full ride? That's insane. These schools are pretty crazy about climbing the rankings I guess.

I got the fee waiver before. I was thinking of applying so started the app... that really got them going. I like my current offers though, so I'm all set.

Wow, I've been accepted at UC Irvine already, but I wish I could've gotten an offer like that.

I got a similar call from a school in which i started the app but never finished..

She basically gave me the rundown why the school was so great.. she basically told me that I was the one of many that she was calling that day so it kind of took the 'specialness' out of it for me... It kinda just seemed like she was calling all the unfinished apps in order to increase the number of apps..

Indiana called me a few weeks ago and requested that I apply, and then about a week later I received a hand-written note from a current student.

Rochester is a great finance school. Location leaves a little to be desired.

I got the app fee waiver and deadlien extension postal letter from Simon and a possible fellowship email from irvine along with a deadline extension.

It's a bit sad that i cannot apply to these schools.

I think Simon and UC Irvine are both looking for High GMATs.

Rochester, UC Irvine and Boston University sent me the same thing. I wonder if contributing to GMASS was a good idea.

Got the same letters from BU and Rochester with a low GMAT score, so other factors must be involved.

I second that. I guess these schools would know that you are way above their league!

I keep getting university of miami, bu, and some place in italy. that one has the prettiest pictures. I told ndhlp "throw it away before I apply....it's so pretty..."

Actually, Duke also spammed me, and they hadn't even been a school I was considering. And now...well, apparently, the spam pays off.
