Brosnan6, I say we throw the kitchen sink and join nyama and crash a Michigan party. We made it this far, we might as well as go all the way (to Ann Arbor).

I'm visiting AA (Ann Arbor) Feb 22 for my interview, tour, class visits, see the place, maybe crush a party. For purposes of admission, they [adcom] always say that an interview is an interview, they have the same weight, whether conducted via skype, by alumni off campus or on-campus. That is their claim. Don't know how a grainy skype interview, in which you look like a ghost; or maybe where sound comes and go, would be weighed against the on-campus interview. Your target should be off-campus with alumni or on-campus. do the skype interview if all others fail....

- I received this above mail on Feb 08, just a few hours before they sent out the invites. Is the Ross adcom confused too?
- Did any international applicant receive an invite this time because everyone invited seems to be from the US?
- Just curious as to how Soojin Kwon didn't mention anything about a third wave on her blog when she had mentioned about wave 1 & 2 well in advance.

Having said that, congratulations to all the guys invited, you deserve it. Go get em guys :)

Invited to interview! I'll be interviewing at the campus. Are there any events/activities y'all can suggest while at the campus? Looks like interview acceptance rate at Ross is around 70% from Poets & Quants. Good luck everyone!

I am international, Indian. But based in the US. It was definitely a surprise, especially as it was in the same week as wave 2

I never anticipated.. that prepping for business school interviews, would involve my spending time and money to get weather appropriate clothing!

Yeah, this process is long and involves a lot of strange stuff. The MBA application process, is weird, it is very very 'cut throat'. I have five years of 'application' experience, especially for graduate school. I have applied for my PhD (sweet process), for my MA -International Relations (walk in the park) etc. Right now, i'm also applying to law school, and their process is sweet. The MBA process....wacky.

It's really getting late in the application cycle. I mean, the class is filling up. However, i would say never give up hope until March 15...then the probability of an invite drops sharply, getting closer to zero each day that passes. By May 1st, when the deposit deadline shows up, the probability jumps toward zero again, by june it will essentially be zero.

I had my interview yesterday and I think they did a great job matching my interviewer (on campus). With a somewhat common background the interview took more of a conversational and relaxed atmosphere, which I really liked. Standard questions with some behavioral but nothing out of "left field" per say. Good luck to everyone, I really enjoyed visiting Ross a lot.

Thanks for the insight weven. Does Michigan have other activities for interviewees such as tours, class visits etc? I didn't notice a way to sign up on the interview website.

yes they do offer Q&A with a student and tour, class visit and chance to set up appointments with clubs you are interested in. Depending on the day the schedule varies, but you just sign up at the front desk not online.

They do have the VIP program where you can sign up online. You can google "VIP Ross" and you'll find it.
