Give it a shot, bro. I don't care what others say, I like this exam somehow. It's funny, but I consider this exam some kind of game, exaustng and frustrating but again - game. In the end of the day, aren't all rewarding games like that?

I'm in the same boat, scoring 720. But untill the very last day of my life I wouldn't stop asking myself was it my floor or cap performance if I haven't take it again.

Persistence, persistence and persistence. You will be persistent in your essays and in your preparations for interviews just as you have been in your GMAT preparations. That's why you are going to be in the Top 5 next year.

Good luck

This is something that has been in my mind for a while - not just about gmat, but GPA,essays, etc etc. but just a general question! (my wife and I used to argue about her "overtime" work after she already had aced a project). So, this is kind of an "theoretical question" that this thread reminded me of. Please take it in the spirit it is offered
Could retaking it twice with a 730 give the wrong impression to the adcom? I mean, that is a DAMN good score -above average for every MBA program.

Would adcoms be scared by someone that is so focused on getting something perfect? I mean, doesn't it play into the negative stereotypes of MBA students? There are times when perfection is necessary. However, success frequently lies in realizing that there is no *practical* advantage to improving something and moving onto other areas.

I feel like I could have improved my score by probably 20-30 points, but decided that there was no point in doing so - that my time was better spent on my essays, preparing for the interviews, researching schools, and just enjoying life so I was well-rested and on top of my game when I needed it.

In reality I am thinking we all might generally agree on this, but maybe our "line" where it is not worth pushing forward is different.

I'm curious what others think!
