This question is a solid example of the assumption except question. It is asking us to find something which is not assumed by
the argument.

The conclusion is based on an assumption that the technique to use the rock song WILL work. At the same time it will not
the sale of other products that the company is selling.

B. This option tells us that this technique is capable of increasing the sales and hence can be assumed by the argument.
C. This option tells us that the use of this technique is superior than any other technique available out there.
D. This is something that we have figured out earlier that it will not hurt the sale of other products that the company is selling.
E. This option tells us that the cost of this technique is not going to hurt the company’s overall profit and hence can be assumed.

A is the answer by eliminating all these options .

Older products already sold more than the new products are. So, manufacturer will not assume that older product will be sold at least as well as the new chocolate bar. If so, profit may decrease. They may rather assume that older product will be sold more than the new product are sold.

Therefore, it is A.
