Hi

I am presently reading MGMAT SC i have reached till chapter 7- verb tence and moods....

I have noticed this that when i read this book follow practice drill and OG ques i get around 60 to 70% accuracy But when i test myself on any practice test i forget all the rules under timed mode and start solving ques by trusting my ears or may be differentiating between answer choices...And this is the reason verbal is going no where....

Is a good way to revise the whole book weekly or the notes atleast? and what is the best way to solve SC ques.?

Hey ,
First of all I would recommend that you don't trust your ear as far as SC is concerned . It might help you with the easy questions but you will invariably get the harder questions wrong , always follow the RULES for every question !
Secondly , when you attempt SC questions , first read the original sentence and try to pinpoint what type of error ( if any) is present . If you are unable to do this , look at the answer choices and see how they are different from each other . This should atleast give you a 3-2 split and then proceed from there .
