Overall, I don't see anything here that should keep you out of a top school. I like the internatioanl exposure and the leadership you exhibited in college, as well as the fact that you're working on bolstering your background academically right now. Hopefully you also have some good leadership experiences to draw upon from your military career.
I don't think that the ED applicant pool is a lot stronger (in terms of terrific credentials) than average, but they are more focused, which makes them stronger applicants overall. But as long as you're equally as focused on Columbia (and communicate your interest in your app), you won't be at a disadvantage.
Yeah, try to get that GMAT score up to 700+. A 660 won't certainly keep you out, but don't let that weakness linger since you have time to take it again.
