General rule is either R1 or R2

Few schools have four rounds ( Haas/Johnson etc )

Is it a good idea to apply for R3 in these schools ?

ANy ideas?

Cornell's app is so short and sweet, I'd half recommend applying just for the practice.

What I have heard is it's best to avoid the last round.

I've heard this as well, so R3s on schools with R4s should be fine.

It also depends on when the rounds are.

Berkeley and UCLA have 4 rounds, but I think Berkeley's R3 is better than UCLA's.

Berkeley's R3 is end of January, around the same time as R2 for other schools.

UCLA's R3 is end of Feb., more like R3 for other schools.
