Hi All,
I am writing this post in order to seek some guidance and help. My official GMAT is scheduled on Oct 24, 2018(I deferred my exam from Oct 9 though). I tried second GMAT exam today from mba.com/exam-prep and ended up with score 500.
I've been struggling with my scores from the very beginning and this is far the worst score I've gotten. I was in good condition though.I've been committed my time into this GMAT prep for last few months sacrifying my family. I feel even guilty now and really angry at myself. My verbal dropped from 30 to 21.
I would like to ask you all what are the chances that I will get score higher than 550 on my exam day. My target is not even high- just anything over 550.
I did several tests from Manhatten prep and scores were
510-530-540-550-550.
Also I did problem set in mba site and I got almost everything above average. Do I need to...give up now?
I have previous experience with CPA, FRM and CFA exams and had great success. I am so stressed. Any encouraing words or guidance would be highly appreciated.
Hi
I would suggest to revise everything that you have studied so far. If you are using
MGMAT guides go through each of them again. Analyze the tests that you have appeared for thoroughly and note your mistakes. Practice questions from the
OG and analyze the right as well as the wrong answers. Check if there is any topic that you are weak in or are you making silly mistakes. Since your target is 550+, it may be achievable, but I would suggest to postpone your Gmat and aim higher. A 700+ will boost your chances of admission to most colleges. Though a 700+ will take atleast 3-4 months of preparation.
All the best.
