Score and profile. Do I have a chance?

Hi,
I'm an Indian software professional working with a well known networking MNC. I have a Masters degree in Computer Applications from the best college in India (w r t this course). My GMAT score is 740. Although I guess my score is good, I don't know if I have a healthy chance of being accepted in a good college this year. This is mainly because I have only about 2 years and 4 months of experience. I haven't had a chance to be in a leadership role yet. My academic record till now has been ok, not among the top scorers. You might call it above average. Somewhere in the middle of the first half of class.
Apart from this, my essay score was 6. I have been in leadership roles during my education (school captain, class representative in college, member of placement cell etc). I also write and have contributed to the weekly or yearly publications of my educational institutes and now my company. I've also held the post of editor of our school magazine. I haven't published in a state or national publication though.
Do I have a chance of being accepted in one of the top 15 colleges? My main area of interest is consultancy/strategy. If not, what can I do to better my chances?
thanks
MM
