Hi All,
I gave my first GMAT recently and am a bit curious about my Quant results (Score: 79, Percentile: 59th).
Please refer the attached snip to understand my accuracy level for the test. I got only 3 questions incorrect and was expecting a relatively high score. However, while attempting the last question, I quickly selected the option but could not click 'Next' due to lack of time. I incorrectly assumed that the response would be saved for this question. Could this one 'Not Answered' question be the only potential reason behind such a huge fall in percentile? Or there are other factors which I'm unable to recognize?

I gave my first GMAT recently and am a bit curious about my Quant results (Score: 79, Percentile: 59th).

I too wrote the test couple of days back, and in QA i got 86 with 3 wrongs. Although both the low difficulty of ques and missed questions can be the reason, missed questions are penalised more heavily. You could've been at 82-83 just by guessing the last one. The Understanding Your Score page on the MBA website could also be helpful to check out. It mentions "three factors" Quant scores are based on, for example. In the beginning of the official-guide, there is also some info regarding the scoring you could check out.
