Hi,
I plan to take the GMAT next week, but don't know where I want to send the scores to yet. I actually don't plan to apply for grad school for another two years. However, if I wait that long to send out my score, will the first 5 reports still be free when I do need to send them out? If I send the scores too early (like 2 years in advance), will it be a waste? Do the schools actually keep it on record even if my application isn't in? How does this work?
I appreciate the input!!
If you do not request your scores to be sent to schools, you will have to re-order them later and pay for it. In the grand scheme of things, it is not that expensive compared to other fees and costs.
Most schools keep files/scores only for a year and then empty their files next application season. I am not sure how electronic scores work, but most likely you will not have access to those scores.
Either way, if you are not applying this year, you will have to re-order the scores.
