I took GMAT few days ago and scored 590. I'm quite disappointed, but have to move on.
I'm not satisfied with this score and I'll take another test, so I need some advice from you guys on how to continue my GMAT journey.
Books that I used:
8
MGMAT GuidesOG 12
Quantitative Rewiew 2nd Editon
Veritas Statistics and Problem Solving
Veritas Combinatorics and Probability
Verbal Rewiew 1st and 2nd Edition
PowerScore CR Bible
I took Manhattan tests during the last month of my preparation:
MGMAT 1 580(Q37,V33)
MGMAT 2 590(Q31,V40)
Veritas (free test) 600(Q40,V33)
MGMAT 3 690(Q46,V38)
MGMAT 4 560(Q39,V29)
MGMAT 5 640(Q45,V33)
MGMAT 6 600(Q45,V29)
I did GmatPrep tests too, but since I knew almost every question I didn't pay attention to the results.
My real score: 590 (Q41,V31)
As you can see, my results are generally low, but if you look at Quant and Verbal scores separately you can see that they are quite inconsistent. When one is ok, the other is disastrous.
I knew that it would be very, very hard to break 700, but I did not expect the result this bad. Almost as if I didn't practiced at all. But believe me, I practiced a lot. Obviously in a wrong way, so this is where I need your help.
One thing that I noticed during the test is that I lost concentration during the verbal part due to the exhaustion. I couldn't think because I was tired and answered questions without thinking.
If anyone has some suggestions regarding my further preparation process please post, I would appreciate it.
I know that I would have to improve both sections dramatically, if I want to score +700, but I'm not quite sure where to begin.
Thank you guys!!!
