The average is 100. 1 SD below the mean is 100-22.4 = 77.6. Hence ths answer should be 8, as 8 of the timings are above this time. Some how I think the question should have been the number of timings below 1sd below the mean. then the answer is right ie; 2.

But I mioght be wrong.

Question does ask for number of timings below 1sd of mean and hence 2 is the right answer.
