Hi,

Is there any other exams other than GMAT. I wanted to do One year programme in India. I have a got a low score of 530 ( Q44/V19 )on my first attempt in GMAT. Iam planning to reappear in two months for GMAT again.

Little brief on my background. Iam a Chemical engineer, with 10 years of exp in Manufacturing and 2 years in SAP functional. Iam looking for B schools in India. Kindly give your suggestions, which school will suit my profile and also is any other exam other than GMAT has to be taken.

For an MBA, the GMAT is the test. There are some schools that do not require the GMAT, but I don't have a list of those, and I'm not sure how well respected those schools are. Sorry I can't help you more with specific schools in India.

Thanks Allen,

After my first GMAT, I had a feeling the verbal part is more orientated towards scoring for native speakers. How to score better in Verbal, being a non native speaker. Comprehending and speed are two hurdles Iam facing. How to improve. Could you share your thought on this.
