abhicoolmax,

From a grammatical perspective, I would use the comma. However, you really don't need to use those extra half dozen words anyway. Take the following two sentences:

a) In this essay, I will argue that the author's argument is flawed for several reasons.
b) The author's argument is flawed for several reasons.

Both a) and b) say the same thing, and b) gets to the point in half the words. I would argue that the "In this essay, I will" is unnecessary. Cutting it out won't hurt your score and it will save you a few seconds of typing.

Best of luck! Looks like you're making good progress!

Great point Brett. I never thought about just removing all these extraneous words Thanks for the suggestion. I will revise my AWA template before my next test and try to practice that then. If I use less of these useless buffer words, I can focus more on the content and reasoning. Awesomeness!

Thanks Brett for noticing my progress. Yes, I feel it now. All seems to fall into place and 750, which appeared like a dream, feels a bit more real. Well it's been a while I have been preparing (1.5 months...long time...wish I could spare 1-2+ hrs on weekdays...tough with full-time work). Anyways hope it actually happens.

This weekend will give GMATPrep (~4 weeks to go after that). Also the thing is I understood that to get to 750+, ALL the sections need to be close to perfect: Quant, SC, RC and CR. I never prepared for Quant and I don't have to, but I thought with q51 I will improve Verbal just enough to get to 750... BUT I realized, just enough will do me NO good and I need to be good at all to be good overall! CR is now my strength, doing much better in SC and RC, although still long way to go... 1+ month time left! Hope I can reach the mark.

Thanks for the help!
