690 is about median score of LBS, HEC, and Insead. Good luck for your second attempt. Hope you achieve 700+ score.

My first GMAT experience was in July 2018 which were simpler and pandemic-free days. I had just graduated and had a bit of time on my hands and decided to get the GMAT out of my way.

With a month of prep, following is the list of material I used for my prep:
1. Official Guide: Completed about 40%
2. My notes on Quant and Verbal, derived from a coaching center called Dilip Oaks
3. 5 free mock tests from GMATPrep, Kaplan, Manhattan and e-GMAT
4. Error log from my practice questions

I was scoring in the range of 600-660 in my mocks, but surprisingly, I got a 690 on the actual test day.

On the test day, I was armed with Coffee and apples to snack on during my break. I was extremely focused and owe my score to it.

Fast forward to 2020. I'm prepping for my second attempt and am planning to give it on 11th October. Wish me luck guys! :)

congrats on your first attempt score.. Stay focused in the exam, you will rock one more time.. all the best.
