use them to get some work done.

MGMAT says that this is a correct sentence.

but I have a concern over "them" . It can refer to both
a) her books
b) her laptop + her books
and in case the sentence was her laptops and her books
"them" could have meant
c) laptops + books.

So is it not ambiguous to write like this.

the way u wish to construct sentences wud be next to impossible !!

to me its all same !!

I guess it does matter..

if "them" usage in incorrect over here we ideally should switch it with say "her books"

doesnt it ?
