I want your help in deciding whether to send it or not
Its straight from the heart
Do you feel it lacks professionalism ?
Do i need to do it in a more subtle way?
And basically what are the consequences of sending such mails ??? What do they do ?Am i going to be in trouble because of this email ??because i am planning to take gmat again in a month or so
Heres my mail
Sir/Madam,
I am from Nagpur,India. I am writing this to you while I am in a state of utter despair and shock.
I gave my Gmat exam on 1st February 2018, here at the Unisoft technologies, Nagpur, India. The centre is a certified one for gmat exams. My exam started at 11:00am and the login was smooth. I completed the first section, took the break- came back on time , and resumed with the second section of my exam. When i was mid section, the exam window/application just froze and then disappeared. I was shocked. I called in for help, the centre guys came in and asked me to wait outside the cabin. They took good 8-9 minutes to fix it. They called me in and, scared as hell i was , without even saying a word and making a fuss about it ( i didnt want to lose my time )i just resumed the exam. I saw my 5-6 mins were gone. So I just hurried through the questions to somehow just finish the section on time. But then the centre guy comes in and asks me whether i want extra time ( the time i lost) . I immediately said yes. I never knew that such a thing was even possible. I got the extra time and then I solved the rest of the exam. Unable to digest what just happened in there and the below expectation score i got,I cancelled my score as it was almost same as my last score. I asked the administrator what happened and surprisingly she answered she didnt know. Who was supposed to know ? Whose fault was this ?
But then there was more. The administrator there asked me to sign a “ waiver” form, which I suppose is a usual thing, should anyone experience such technical issues during the exam. The form clearly stated that
“ I was given the offer to cancel my exam and take it at another time and place of my choice
I rejected the offer and went on with the exam “
But the truth is that I was not informed of any such information. I was made no such offer. How was I supposed to sign such a thing? When I objected, the owner of the centre in a language that was not appropriate at the time ( may even be considered as threatening/rude) said that i was offered extra time and thats the same thing.
But what about the crucial 4-5 questions i hurried through? You dont need me to tell how much these questions cost? . She even added that she was going to raise my case with the gmac. What? Why?
What Did i do wrong ? Just got myself registered for an exam at a crappy centre? Or was it that that i was asking questions which i was not supposed to ask ? Do i not have the right to know what happened ?
I have given this exam 10 very important months of my life. The preparation, the sacrifices, the hopes, and the money, these all need some serious answers from the Pearson Vue.
Waiting eagerly for your reply
