Should I retake my GMAT in 16 days?

So, if I were you I would take a little more time and try and work harder on my
Reading Comprehension skills and try and improve my score to the maximum
possible extent. Additionally I would recommend on working on Quant(especially
the topics with the lower percentiles) and push for an improvement in the RC section.

Thanks for the reply. Here are my numbers.

I've been preparing for the past 5 months a few breaks between but I've been preparing consistently for the past 50 days. My CAT scores we as follows

GMAT Prep 1: 600 (Q42, V29)
GMAT Prep 2: 650 (Q47, V34)
GMAT Prep 3: 710 (Q49, V38) with no more than 4 repeated questions.

I took Kaplan at the beginning of the preparation and scored a 590 (Q38, V33) and by my last Kaplan Test I was at 640 (Q44, V32)

I took one Princeton Review CAT and got a 650. Hope this helps.

My SC and RC was a bit weak but I think I can move it up a notch or two in the remaining days. I know my GMAT Prep score might be scaled up by 20 or 30 points but my target score is between 640 and 680.

So I ordered my ESR and the results was as I expected. My percentile in RC was 11%. Which I know is shamefully low. My percentile in SC was 73 and CR was 40+ which I think is okay.

Accuracy in RC is difficult to improve and it is really more difficult to improve RC in short period of time. There are scopes of improvement in every area in verbal and quant. So its better to take your own sweet time to prepare thoroughly and reappear again.

R2 is already over. So if I were you, I would go for R1 - next year, and take 3-4 months before appearing for gmat again.

While the ESR doesn't provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define how you performed on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). Since you purchased the ESR, I'll be happy to analyze it for you if you're interested. You can feel free to PM or email it to me. So I took a veritas (one of the hardest CATs) test yesterday and this was my score. (attached image below) What do you think?

Veritas currently underscores on verbal and overscores on quant. Take 1-2 points off your quant and add 1-2 onto verbal. Their percentiles aren't as skewed as the actual exam, which is getting more quant heavy every year. For the practise tests, 47q gets you 73rd, but in the exam only 63rd. Conversely, 42v is 91st in practise tests but now 94th in exam

Overall veritas scores are usually a bit lower than OG practise tests, but are pretty accurate in terms of test day performance - IMO most people perform 10-30 points better at home than they do on test day due to nerves, poor sleep etc. Some people perform well under pressure, some don't.
