Business schools usually ask for GMAT, although some will also accept the GRE. For a MSc degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, or Financial Economics, a strong score in the GRE subjects test for math would be a plus.

I suppose it would help for MBA admissions too, but probably not that much. It might be better to focus your energy on a high GMAT score or perhaps the CFA exam.
