That way, I have been able to avoid any nasty surprises.

Thanks for the tip. My essays convert fine to pdf, but i guess with the resume it can get messed up.

Does any one know when does school start sending out interview calls for Round 2 applicants? I am planning to take GMAT again post my application submission, so checking in how much time I would have?

Last year, invites started trickling out in mid-February. This year, the R1 decision date is about a week earlier (Jan 29, 2013 vs Feb 6, 2012) so R2 invites might even come out at the beginning of February this year!

I'm also based in the US with no interview invite - it seems that they've finished giving out most US invites. Check the previous 2 pages of posts for this thread. They may give out a few after the office opens in Jan, and theoretically we have until the decision date.

I don't mean to discourage you, but I am in MA and received my invitation about three weeks ago. And when I went to interview that day, nearly all of the other prospectives were also from MA.

Thanks for sharing. At least, I haven't received the official decision so I gotta hope that there are few more interview slots in January... Good luck with your app.

I checked but there is no decision posted at this time.

I just got that email too. Assumed it was a ding, although awfully early (and a bit cruel, consider it's the day after Christmas and more than a month before the decision deadline). Not sure what is going on...?

This is probably good (better) news guys. At this time, I will be okay with such a waitlist. It shows that they some what liked what they see and want to review the round 2 apps before inviting for an interview.

I am assuming if no WL now, a definite ding in coming days/weeks for rest of us.

Not sure, I thought it was weird to get it without an interview. I also got stuck on the WL at stanford, but after an interview.
