I have been practising off and on for the last 2-3 mnths and my score is round about 620.NOT GOOD.Aiming for as close to 700 as i cn get!Since i have been told that an increase of 100 pts cannot be done in a mnth I have made up my mind to set my deadline in the 1st week of AUGUST.I just have to get a good score as I want to get it done in 1 shot. The materials which I have used till now are:
Manhattan SC
Manhattan FDP's
Manhattan Word translations.
OG11
OG verbal review
OG quant review
Kaplan premier program.

What do u suggest now?How do i proceed?

I think you have got enought material to cover all GMAT aspects. All you need is just practicing. If you aim 700+ do not forget to ace basics in math and verbal first. Then try to practice as much as you can. Good luck, man!!!

gmat guru's?can nebody tell me in detail wat the plan should be?Two probs which i can forecast:
1.I've already gone through the material I ve mentioned. What should be my approach the second time around?
2.Since I have time in hand I want a proper plan otherwise the entusiasm wont be there.I am afraid I'll loose focus.

Manhattan GMAT Number Properties is one other excellent book. I would suggest to go thru that as well. The books that you have are way more than one can prepare for a good score in GMAT.

For quant, do participate in forums. And be an active reader on the forums. That will defiitely help you.

For Verbal, there is nothing better than practice, practice and Practice. Read, read and read some boring stuff.

Have fun.

I too had the Kaplan Premier program and while it is pretty good for verbal practise, it is not the best for quant imo. I would definately buy the challenges on here - they are the best. I was low in quant and they have really helped me so far.

So, your score is 620 - what is your weak area? Can you be more specific?

individual break-up:
Q44 V30.Total:610.Obviously quant is stronger. This is cos my prev scores was 580(Q41 V29) and i dove into math headfirst letting verbal be all alone. Results could be seen:)

weak areas:
CR:strong area.Done with Og11,verbal review,Kaplan premier.
RC:WEAK:( Had done randomly from the above mentioned books but clearly its not working so digging into OG11 again.
SC:Had done manhattan SC TWICE,Verbal review and OG11.(all in Nov.then i ended up leaving it.Took Gmat up again in feb end)Initially had Vastly improved but now i feel I dont even know the basics.Back to starting pt.So doing Manhattan again n' tackling OG11 topic wise.
I am afraid in 3 mnths(thats a long time)i'll loose focus mid way.In the first post I have told which of the materials I have already done.Suggestions on how to approach the 2nd time around?

Put all of your time and effort into learning and practicing verbal strategies.

Also, try following strategies outlined in the Kaplan Premier book or try reading as much as you can of what I call GMAT Fiction.

Hi mate,

good luck in your trip, it's not an wasy one but try to do your best

my two cents: spend all the time you are not studying reading in english. There are many resources on the internet (businessweek, cnn, ft, etc.) and on paper as well (the economist should be a must)

Doing this, you'll improve your reading comprehension and will spend less time trying to understand a text

Again, good luck!!
