Some of the greatest American entrepreneurs of the 20th century started their business ventures while they were still in college, and could not complete their education as a result. It is possible that had they started their businesses any later, they would not have been as successful.

From the above two statements, it can only be proven that

(A) sometimes, it can be worthwhile to sacrifice an immediate gain for a larger benefit.

(B) education is not always useful.

(3) it pays not to complete an education.

(D) entrepreneurs who start their ventures after completing their education are not as successful as those who start off while still in college.

(E) you do not have to be educated to be an entrepreneur.

Some entrepeneurs in fact suceed without being educated, so you do not have to be educated to be an entrepreneur...

I would go with A.

Problem with E is --- We don't know what is the criterion for being "educated". Author might consider someone who has completed high school as educated or someone who is in college as educated.

reasoning is mentioned below:
E--several flaws-1 it's mistaken reversal ( some entrepreneur- not education not equal to not education -entrepreneur ) 2- some entrepreneur not all.
D-not all some entrepreneur .author is saying about some not all

c- not inferred .only some cases don't mean that we can make general claim
B- extreme ....and mistaken (can be inferred some time not useful ,But not always can be inferred )

A- supported by claim some time it's worth while to sacrifice to immediate goal (education ) to larger goal( venture business).....
OA-----is A (I have to post in the absence of original author )

This is an inference question.
Let's go by POE.

(B) - Too extreme. Incorrect.
(C) - Portrays a generalization. Incorrect.
(D) - The argument talks about "Some of the greatest American entrepreneurs" and not " entrepreneurs who start their ventures after completing their education". Incorrect.
(E) - It talks no education. But, the argument talks about "college" education. Incorrect.

(A) wins.
