Question: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement
Childhood is the happiest time of a person's life
Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion

Answer:

In my eyes, I think that childhood is the happiest time of a person's life for a few reasons. The main reason why I believe so is because even though children do a variety of stupid things they are given leniency and can get away with a lot of stuff. Children also do not have as much stress or pressure compared to the adults. Although a lot of people might not agree with my point of view and say that children have pressure as well. On one hand children do have pressures such as getting good grades and peer pressure, but on the other hand the pressures they have is nothing compared to the pressures of the adult world such as trying to get a job or starting a family

First, I believe that children can get away with many things that adults can not. Children need not worry about the norms of society and the ramifications of their actions.
For example, If a child is playing cricket and breaks the window of another person's house the maximum that the child has to worry about is getting scolded by his or her mother or father. On the other hand If a 25 year old man plays cricket and breaks the windows of an adjacent house he is expected to pay the price of the window and will also lose face in front of the person.

Secondly, in my view as I have stated in the first paragraph, I believe that children as a whole are less stressed than their adult counterparts. For instance a child has to worry only about what to do in class the next day or about getting low marks on his exams. A grown up man has to worry about getting a job, whether he will keep his job or not, money issues he might have, etc. I believe that these issues will cause a larger amount of stress.

In conclusion, I believe that childhood has a large number of advantages and minimal disadvantages whereas adulthood has a small number of advantages and a large number of disadvantages. These large number of advantages allow childhood to be the happiest time of a person's life.

By the way, how many marks out of 5 would you give me
