Strategies for Last 2 weeks before Exams [#permalink]
You will probably study for the next two weeks.

But here are a couple of pro tips ->
MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT STUDY THE DAY BEFORE THE EXAM
YOU NEED TO SLEEP LIKE A BABY.

I messed up my first GRE attempt because I didn't sleep and ended up with a heavy head.

Not the space you would want to be in.

Dear All,

I have an exam after 2 weeks, I would like to have last minute tips for giving the best shot in these 2 weeks. Kindly advice and share your views and opinion which can help the students like me, who has got no idea what to do in those last 2 weeks.

I still need to start RC. Weather 2 Weeks are sufficient for this section as i always get so scared with this section.

All Suggestion , Tips , strategies, advice are most Welcome. :-)

Thanks in advance :-) .

Prashant
I think a few RC passages would be fine at this stage. You should, however, not do too many. Save your energy for the actual test.

On a separate note, are you close to your target score already? I ask because you don't seem to have started preparing for RC.

Thanks @AjiteshArun..I will do 2-3 passage daily till the exam, i guess thats the only best available option.
I have not given any mock recently but my last score was 550 ( V 20 Q 45). Its been 2 months since the last exam

And My target score is around 680. :|

Hi Prashant,

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for each)?

Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) What is your exact Test Date?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi Prashant,

From what you have described, I assume that you have not taken any CATs since you took the Official GMAT (on November 30th). If that's the case, then we really have no idea of your current 'ability level', strengths or weaknesses. As such, I strongly recommend that you take one of the Official GMAT CATs and take it in a realistic fashion (take the FULL CAT - with the Essay and IR sections, take it away from your home, at the same time of day as when you'll take the Official GMAT, etc.). Once you have that score, you should report back here and we can discuss how best to proceed.

If you're currently scoring in the 500s, then the goal to score 680+ in just 10 days is likely too difficult to be considered realistic. This is meant to say that you should consider pushing back your Test Date (Note: you can pay a rescheduling fee of $50 and reschedule as long as you do so AT LEAST 7 full days in advance of your Exam). While I imagine that that idea would not make you 'happy', you need a properly competitive GMAT Score to apply to Business School - and if you don't have that type of score, then application deadlines don't really matter.

Thanks EMPOWERgmatRichC, for your advice. I will write an official mock in 2 days , But postponing the exam is not a scenario at the moment. Will even see if there is need to write the exam for third time which i really dont want :hurt:
I will update you with my official mock exam score in some time. I hope i might improve really well in last 45 days.
