Stuck around 700?

I took the GMAT about a month and a half ago and got 700 (Q47, V39) and have recently retaken a few of the cats and scored:

CAT 3 Retake: 720 (Q48,V40)
CAT 4 Retake: 700 (Q49, V36)
CAT 5 Retake: 730 (Q49, V41)
CAT 6 Retake 700 (Q49, V38)

My goal is to hit 750+, I've only ever hit 750 on one CAT before (when I first took CAT 6). Does anyone have any tips on consistency? I've been practicing Quant using TTP, OG Gmat, and Quant Review, and for Verbal, I've been using Verbal review and OG Verbal to practice.

Similar case with me. Mock Score has plateaued around 700. Waiting to hit 740-750 in 2-3 mocks and then book the exam.
@experts, please suggest. Would like to know what are the general causes of such plateaus and how to overcome them :/
Also, some guidance around when to guess and move on.
And also, suggested time milestones for verbal. Currently I give more time to the first 3 quarters. Around 98 secs for the last 11 qs. I see there is less time remaining and panic. Then I dont solve the qs systematically since there is less time. Should I evenly space out time for the 4 quarters? I have been told that the first 10 qs are the most imp

May want to check the combos that could most easily do that for you. Had a student for example who ended up getting a 750 Q45 V48 in April mainly as a result of their Verbal on the retake going up 11 points but it may be far easier to aim for a Q49 V42 which can potentially get a 750 as well.

Consider getting/sharing the ESR of the 700 (after wiping any personal info). There could be some specific suggestions people could make.

How to get a V40 or higher on the GMAT? What about a V51?

Your ESR indicates that have room for improvement in all three areas of Verbal.

You could develop greater consistency by using the TTP Verbal question bank, practicing untimed, and shooting for very high accuracy, such as

E - close to 100%
M - 90%+
H - 80%+

First off, a 700/Q47 is an outstanding Score, so it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School. As such, a retest might not be necessary. Depending on the Schools that you plan to apply to, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement (and the more time that you have to act on that advice, the better). Before we get to the data in your ESR, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) On what date did you take your Official GMAT? Was this your 1st attempt?
2) How long have you studied in total? How many hours do you typically study each week?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi!
1) I took the Official GMAT in the 3rd week of April
2) I study approximately 20 hours a week, and have studied around 400 hours
3) I took CATS one week after another every Tuesday. The scores are below:
CAT 3 Retake: 720 (Q48,V40)
CAT 4 Retake: 700 (Q49, V36)

4) I am going for M7 or potentially a full ride at T15 (ORM) in about a year.

One move you might consider is taking many third-party practice tests to keep seeing fresh tests and thus train to find ways to answer questions on the fly.

I've seen people get good results by taking 20 or more practice tests from various sources.
