Studies - Plural subject needs to be "have" than "has". So elimanate A and C

Among B ,D and E. i go for D.

i prefer "how" to "whether" and interesting results is more idiomatic than " results of interest"

D

whether changes the meaning -- we are looking at how particles interact not if they interact. after this, just look for "have" and parallelism between two clauses in the last two sentences, which yields D.

What is the source of these questions?
