I got a 690 today, not the score I wanted (wanted 700 at least becuase I scored a 710 and 730 on GMAT prep this week), but it's good enough to never have to take the GMAT again . I was just curious on a few things.

Is a 690 and 3.6 GPA good enough to apply to top 10 schools and have a decent chance to get in?

Also, I have an odd story of only completing my freshman year of high school, do you think that'll look good on the my application if I explain my progress from a drop out to college graduate from a mediocre school to tier 1 applicant?

Lastly, thanks once again, I couldn't have self prepped without this forum. I seriously went from a 440-730 for practice testing. The bad score was mostly SC and Math that I just didn't know; I was missing basic fundamentals that I missed in high school, but all in all I couldn't have done it without the wealth of information on this forum, thanks.

If anyone has any questions on how I prepped, let me know.
