"as" fits best for comparison of two things here.

IMO A.
On the basis of singular object , her passionate interest in history , we can eliminate B and C. C is wordy and unidiomatic. Now its between A and E - I think we we include similarly in the sentence it needs to repeat the subject verb object format again, which is not the case here.
I would go with A , however, I can not provide a distinct reason to eliminate E.

I'd say A, even though E may be correct as well.

i am going with the option A. passionate interest is action noun here and it is singular

To answer to your query why E should be eliminated,

--> 'As' is used for comparison.
--> Here, Aristocratic Values are being compared with her passionate interest

Hence A.
