A and C are out. Singular subject 'The bank' and plural pronoun 'their' doesn't match

B is out. singular subject 'each' and plural verb 'visit'.

'Him or herself' in E doesn't tell the intended meaning.

Hence, D would be the correct one.

What is that OA?

(A) that many of their customers no longer visit the bank itself.
(A) that each of its customers no longer visit the bank itself.
(A) that many of their customers no longer visit the bank themselves.
(A) that many of its customers no longer visit the bank itself. - Correct
(A) that many of its customers no longer visit the bank him or herself. - Should be himself or herself. The meaning is also distorted as the intent is to say there is no need to visit the bank.

Bank is Singular entity. So, it boils down directly to B,D,E.

Original sentence talks of many customers.not each customer. We should always stick to intention of the original statemnt provided. So,B out.

Bank is a nonliving object and not human. So, himself herself prounoun is wrong. Should be itself. So, E wrong

D correctly addresses all mistakes.

Should be D.

Their Vs its -
The Bank is Singular so " its " reject C and A for using " their"

In E , should have been " himself or herself " reject E for using " him ".

B is awkward for using " Each " , suggesting that not a single person will need to visit the bank again. This is extreme.

D should be Correct , uses " many " instead of " each ".

(A) that many of their customers no longer visit the bank itself. --> "bank" is singular
(B) that each of its customers no longer visit the bank itself. --> The meaning of the sentence says "many of its customers", not "each of its customers"
(C) that many of their customers no longer visit the bank themselves. --> same as A
(D) that many of its customers no longer visit the bank itself. --> correct
(E) that many of its customers no longer visit the bank him or herself. --> the reflexive pronoun is referred to the bank not the people (bonus: even it's people, the pronoun is wrong, it should be themselves ... :-D )

Official Explanation:
Bank is a misleading word. We think of the people working there, not the singular structure itself. However, it is singular, so it needs a singular pronoun. Their should be its. Choice (D) is the only one that makes this change without incorrectly changing another part of the sentence.
