C.

I was caught between A and C.

C splits not only... but also with "it". How wrong is this?

My problem with A is "of facilitating". It should be "to facilitate".

Why not B??.........also "have" makes sense because the software IS being designed and not "has" been already designed......comments welcome!!

Yikes, you are right. I just looked it over again. It's definitely B. Have refers to versatility and power. I wonder why I didn't see that the first time.

Upon rereading, I will change my answer to B. You are right cbrf3

B definitely makes sense. future tense
