The split is between ‘which’ and ‘that’.

‘Which’ is used to introduce non-restrictive modifier/clause while ‘that’ is used to introduce restrictive modifier/clause.

Hi Vinit, indeed this seems to be the only difference between options A and B.

However, I am quite sure GMAT would never test this difference (and definitely not where this is the only difference between two options).

In fact, in an official explanation to one of the questions, GMAT acknowledges that this difference (restrictive/non-restrictive) between which and that is controversial.

Since this seems to be an unofficial question, we can ignore this.

Thank You EducationAisle for your input.

Does that mean that both ‘which’ and ‘that’ can be used for restrictive as well as non-restrictive modifiers?

Hi Vinit, what I meant was that there are minimal chances that GMAT would test you on this supposed difference and even more minimal chances that that vs which is the only difference between two options.

So, not worth fretting over.
