Ihope there is no mistake.

Our formal modeling of this issue utilizes the previous researches, mainly specialized to the case where the production costs depend only on the total effort or attention the workers devote to all of his tasks.

I think that THE CASE WHERE is not correct. 'Where' means a geographic place. THE CASE IN WHICH is more appropriate. Only C offers this construction.

I see some logical inconsistency in C - 'only costs of production depend' versus 'the production costs depends only on the total effort or attention the worker.....'
Besides I think that 'production costs' is better than 'costs of production'.

I like choice D

that's tough for me!!!
I think the answer is D
But, the D choice "depend only on............." seems to be a little strange....
I think "depend on only" is more great than "the depend only on............."
