The global population of frogs has declined in recent years while the amount of ultraviolet radiation reaching the Earth has increased. We have to find an option that says something about the positive correlation between ultraviolt radiation and population decline.
A. That is not about any link between radiation and population decline. It is some global information.
B. Nothing is said about the radiation.
C. Same as in B.
D. There is nothing said about the radiation. But really it is a weakening argument. Because eggs of turtles have tough leathery coverings, so if the decline were about ultraviolet radiation it would less affect the turtles, but their population is also in decline. So it is not the radiation.
E. Very good. The eggs that are hidden beneath the rocks or under the sand are less influenced by ultraviolet radion -------> they have declined considerably less. It is logical.
