(A) due to wheat being costly - Incorrect use of being

(B) because wheat is costly - Correct

(C) for the fact of wheat's costliness - Wordy and not a good construction

(D) as a result of the costliness of wheat - Wordy and passive

(E) being that wheat is costly - Same as A

Easy-peasy, Option B, rest all have incorrect construction or involve the use of "being"
