Yes; the factor ‘in addition to’ does not change the number of the subject; for your info, the following (correct) structures may be helpful to understand the concept.

Tom goes to court
Tom and Dick go to court
Tom with Dick goes to court
Tom along with Dick goes to court
Tom together with Dick goes to court
Tom in addition to Dick goes to court
Tom as well as Dick goes to court

C is correct!

(A) The growing demand for cheaper houses, unpolluted environs and tension- free lifestyle, along with the inability to pay the high rentals in down–town have turned --> S/V agreement error


(B)The growing demand for cheaper houses, unpolluted environs and tension- free lifestyle and for the inability to pay the high rentals in down–town have turned --> S/V agreement error

(C) The growing demand for cheaper houses, unpolluted environs, tension- free lifestyle together with the inability to pay the high rentals in down–town has turned --> Correct!


(D)The growing demands for cheaper houses, unpolluted environs and tension-free lifestyle in addition to the inability to pay the high rentals in down–town is turning --> S/V agreement error


(E)The growing demand for cheaper houses, unpolluted environs and tension- free lifestyles as well as the inability to pay the high rentals in down–town are turning --> S/V agreement error
