That was your No 1 choice, right?

Thanks greenoak!

It's indeed been my number-one since I started the journey, though the last few weeks and a campus visit to Fontainebleau have pushed INSEAD up to equal footing, IMO. I haven't heard back from them yet (it's looking like a ding since most admits have been called already), so this should be an easy choice.

UTdub -- good luck and hope you hear a positive result soon!

I got this e-mail last year too. 2-3 days later, I got put on waitlist. However, I know others who got in after receiving that letter. Dont worry yet. Give it 2-3 days :( I know it sucks.

Dear MBA2011 Applicant,

I am writing to inform you that your admissions decision has been delayed. This delay is causedby the high volume of applications received during this Stage and is no indication of your final Admissions Committee result.

We apologise for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience, we will be in touch as soon as the Admissions Committee releases your decision. We expect that to be by 8pm on Friday 19 December.

Thank you for your wishes, everyone! Very much excited, especially since LBS has basically been my "dream school" from when I started this journey (further encouraged by all the great posts and info in this thread!). But I'm also surprised as well, since my profile (and online evaluators) indicated it would be a longshot (on account of my really low GPA and weaker extracurriculars). And I still thought I did worse on this interview than INSEAD. Once this sinks in further, I will be sure to debrief more on my specific application, since I honestly did not think I would make it through.
