There's a saying in football (the fooball of UK) - "if you don't shoot, you're not going to score"

Having said that, almost the entire class is probably going to apply for those 5-10 scholarships - I dont like my odds (and am not going to bother).

True -- on the plus side, I think the rules are that you can only receive one scholarship, so everyone who got their scholarship offers just recently are already out of the competition at least... :-D

I have to pay 6000 pounds reservation fee by the end of the week. I suppose you can call me "officially in" after making that kind of commitment :)

Yeah, that probably qualifies! I guess that also explains why it's the middle of the workday here and both of us are busy posting on GMATclub... :lol:

Took advantage of today good GBP/AUD rate to sneak in a conversion for the GBP 6000 commitment fee due by Friday (gulp). LBS here I come ......

Nice find! I've bookmarked it for future reference... ;)

This article also explains the sometimes odd looks I got at my hotel in Knightsbridge after my last campus trip. I guess ripped jeans and a hoodie are not the usual wardrobe for the "old money" set... :lol:

to r1 admits who are matriculating:

i've sent in my original transcript, commitment fee, and the other pdf document. any idea whether lbs has some verification process? other schools are already doing the kroll verification...

I haven't heard anything either. Isn't the verification process mainly done by the US schools?

I submitted my application for R2. The application status still says submitted.
Anyone else seeing the same status ?
How long does it normally take for the application to go complete ?
