Hi Souvik...could you explain a query of mine...

*Yo-yo Ma, whom according to the classical cellists of the world is perhaps the world’s best, plays in a versatile style which is ever-changing but which also employs aspects of genres as varied as Baroque, American bluegrass, and modern minimalism.

*considered perhaps the world’s best by the classical cellists of the world, plays in a versatile style, which at the same time employs

It's a veritas question and answer mentioned above in greeen. Here , which refers to noun style.

Now a concept which we all knw through E Gmat SC notes :

In the past several years, astronomers have detected more than 80 massive planets, most of them as large or larger than Jupiter, which circle other stars.

Here which refers to 80 massive planets....

Wat exactly do we have to follow ?

The Most Comprehensive Collection Of Everything Official- Verbal

Hello All. This attachment below is the most gigantic collection of official questions ever made.
It includes:

Basically its a complete collection of ALL gmatprep questions of all the softwares! This includes the latest gmatprep: so use it in the final leg of your prep.
This set contains the hardest meaning based questions the GMAT ever made- a lot of those questions are currently not available on our GMATPREP verbal documents.
An example of these new meaning based questions is

As the honeybee’s stinger is heavily barbed, staying where it is inserted, this results in the act of stinging causing the bee to sustain a fatal injury.

(A) As the honeybee’s stinger is heavily barbed, staying where it is inserted, this results in the act of stinging causing
(B) As the heavily barbed stinger of the honeybee stays where it is inserted, with the result that the act of stinging causes
(C) The honeybee’s stinger, heavily barbed and staying where it is inserted, results in the fact that the act of stinging causes
(D) The heavily barbed stinger of the honeybee stays where it is inserted, and results in the act of stinging causing
(E) The honeybee’s stinger is heavily barbed and stays where it is inserted, with the result that the act of stinging causes

OA E
.

And the best news is: This collection also comes with an answer key, yet I would highly recommend googling each questions and reviewing thoroughly using "expert replies".

I would strongly recommend reviewing at least 50% of these questions to develop a "GMAT ear" and get a hang of what the GMAT likes and doesn't like.
Thank you!

! Do not attempt these if you have not covered/used up the CAT's in the GMAT Prep software yet. Otherwise, you will get repeat questions and your score estimate will not be accurate

Hello souvik,

Could'nt find them anywhere in the attachements

Hi souvik101990

What is the difference among Part 1, 2 and 3?

Is it on the basis of the their age or source or something else?

Thanks
Rohit

These are all official and free GMAT questions. Think about copyright violation, the GMAC is incredibly obsessive about this because sales of the OG and the computer prep is where they make most of their money so this site cannot enable such copyright infringement (although it takes advantage of every possible loophole there is).

Part 1 was gathered from old versions of the official guide and retired paper based test that are OLD and FREE. Part 2 is the GMATPrep 1 Exam question bank which is FREE. Part 3 is the GMAT Prep 2 Exam question bank which is FREE. If you want newer material focus on parts 2 and 3, just know that after you do all of these, you won't be able to take GMATPrep free exams and get a reliable score because they will give you the same questions.

You are not getting questions for the GMATPrep material that you have to pay for.

Why are A and B wrong?
1st error: Use of as. As I have completed my work, I will throw a party at night.
But in both the above sentences, there is no result available for as.
As the honeybee’s stinger is heavily barbed. Then?
2nd error: -ing form of a verb(i.e. staying ) should be in the same time zone as of the main clause. But, in the above sentence, -ing form is not even modifying a clause. What it is modifying is only a fragment.

Error in C:
heavily barbed and staying where it is inserted: Not parallel. One is adjective and other is a clause.

Error in D:
1st part of the sentence is unnecessarily wordy.
2nd part of the sentence should be an independent clause because it contains "and" after a comma. However, the sentence doesn't have any subject.
It should have "it" after and.
Hope it helps!!!!

Hey Everyone and souvik101990!

Thanks for putting this together. Would you say these list of questions are still relevant in 2016? What I mean by that is are these still good practice material?

Any recommended strategy to cover all of these? It wasn't clear to me based on the doc whether these are new/old vs easy/hard organized.

Kudos to you! Thank you so much.
Can you tell us what does part 12,3 signify? old vs new gmatprep?

Can you please clarify this? I do not understand why the questions have been segmented in three parts.

Not really. They are all just massive collections. They are separated so that the PDFs do not become unending.
