(1) x+y close to 4
Case a) x=500011; y=-4996.2; x+y is close to 4 and x is close to 5000
Case b) x=2.1; y=2.1; x+y is close to 4 and x is close to 2
--> Insufficient

(2) x-y close to 1
Case a) x=5.1; y=4.12; x-y is close to 1 and x is close to 5
Case b) x=8.2; y=7.21; x-y is close to 1 and x is close to 8
---> Insufficient

(1) and (2)
Case a) x=2.8; y=1.82; x+y is close to 4; x-y is close to 1; x is close to 3
Case b) x=2.42; y=1.4; x+y is close to 4; x-y is close to 1; x is close to 2
