(D) for me

Stat1:
0*2 = 2
> Is '*' could be 'x' ? 0x2 = 0, no
> Is '*' could be '+' ? 0+2 = 2, yes
> Is '*' could be '-' ? 0+2 = -2, no
Thus, '*' = '+' and 1*0 = 1+0 = 1
SUFF

Stat2:
2*0 = 2
> Is '*' could be 'x' ? 2x0 = 0, no
> Is '*' could be '+' ? 2+0 = 2, yes
> Is '*' could be '-' ? 2-0 = 2, yes
Thus, * = + or - and 1*0 = 1 +/- 0 = 1
SUFF
