Let the average weight of the girls be x.
The average weight of the boys will be x+7.

Given data:
Boys:Girls = 4:3
Average weight of the class is 45

Hence, the boys and girls will be in the form 4A:3A
Framing the equation,

\(\frac{4A(x+7) + 3A(x)}{(4A + 3A)} = 45\)
4Ax + 28A + 3Ax = 45*7A
7Ax = 287A
x = 41
Hence, the average weight of the boys is 48(which is x+7)

Therefore, the ratio of weights of boys:girls = 48:41(Option B)

let b=boys' weight
g=girls' weight
total weight=45*(4+3)=315
b/4-[(315-b)/3]=7→
b=192
315-192=123=g
(192/4):(123/3)=48:41
