The ratio of men to women at a banquet is 6:5. If ten men leave the party, which of the following could be the number of attendees remaining?

A. 55
B. 65
C. 66
D. 89
E. 101

Since the ratio of men to women is 6 to 5, we could have the following number of guests:

11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99, 110, ...

So we see that if there were 99 guests and 10 men left, there would be 89 guests left.
