The struggle continues...

GMAT 1: Aug06,2004
Quant: 42
Verbal: 19
Score: 510

GMAT 2: Nov15,2004
Quant: 42
Verbal:32
Score: 610

Am gearing up for another GMAT soon.

-RC is still my weakness.I got back to back RC and couldn't take control.
-Quant: Need to pace myself, was struggling with 15 questions to be done in 15 minutes towards the end.

The positive side, an increase of 100 points in the net score.
The negative side...the struggle continues.

I need to get atleast 650. I have spent so much cash on GMAT and prep stuff that I could have bought a return ticket to India.... :(

Anyway, it does not matter...We live only once ..so will work hard to realize that dream.

Will take a rest for a day and bounce back to the forum.

NEWKID, despite your overall score, you must see your massive verbal improvement as a good sign of your getting closer and closer to your target score. The rest lies upon your hands and how much you want that 650+ of yours. I know that you want it so I'm sure you will get it. Take a good rest and please come back to training :) I seriously believe in your capacity so do not fail me :angry

Newkid,
You are just one more post away from a 710. Its simply amazing to improve 100 points in just a couple of months. Yes, you are in the speed track already - 32 in verbal is a classic indication of great progress. While I feel with you for you not having hit the target of 630 to 650, at the same time it will be brutal on our part not to pat for the 100 point increase.

Hey, take it easy for a few days and then charge back....keep your untiring spirit ON. Few people have this great quality - you should not loose it.

"We live only once ..so will work hard to realize that dream" - I will remember this. Great one.

Hey Newkid,

That's a great improvement of 100 points in just a couple of points. Keep that fighting spirit up and you will achieve your target. I am sure, later in life when you look back, you will find that those money and effort is well spent. Take a few days rest and start pounding on the weak areas again..... success is just a few steps away from you.

New kid,
That is a great improvement. I wish I could improve my score by 100 points like you did. Don't worry we are all in this together. Cheer up brother, keep up the good work.
