let total no of employees on 1st June be $$n$$ and let by 30th June net increase in employee be $$x$$
So increase % $$= \frac{x}{n}*100$$. so to get the value we need the values of $$n$$ & $$x$$

Statement 1: confirms only deletion but provides no information regarding the addition of employees during the month. Hence insufficient

Statement 2: confirms only addition but provides no information regarding the deletion of employees during the month. Hence insufficient

Combining 1 & 2 we will get net increase $$x$$ $$= 37-15 = 22$$. but provides no information regarding $$n$$, the total number of employees on Jun 1st. Hence Insufficient

Honestly, we do not know what is the initial number.

Even if we combine the statements : Corp X has 22 more employees in the end of June.
- If this is a big company, 1000 employees, its growth is not significant.
- If this is a small company, 50 employees, ist growth is very big.

Hi,

Always remember that % is on some NUMERIC value unless given straight..
so here we require a BASE to work on or some straight % calculations are given..

combined ,
we know the change in number that is added-dropped. BUT what is this CHANGE on, what was the initial number-- not known
insuff
