You got comparasion than, so try to omit the rest of the sentance and ypu will see:

A all ... than each other
B all... than the others
C each ...than one other
D each... than the others
E each ...than another

Part of sentence contain "And So" means upcoming part is streesing on something

A is wrong because it uses all strive more than each other ,each other here making incorrect than others is better
B resolves error of A , but placement of more successfully is incorrect in B

D resolves both errors of A and B
Also comparison is for one company with others so D is more appropriate here.

How to decide if the pronoun is 'its' or 'their' ?

It depends totally on the antecedent of a pronoun. If it's singular, then we will use "its" and if it's plural, we will use "theirs".
Here in this case "each" is a correct option. So, we will use "its", not "theirs".

Not an expert.
