In the first one, Navy is a collective noun. Therefore, it's singular.
The same applies to words such as army, crowd, group, etc...Since Navy is singular, you have to use its with it.

The second one,

Since you are talking about a metaphorical place, not an actual physical place, then you have to go with "in which". In that sentence, we are talking about a Bedouin world rather than an actual location where we would have to use the relative pronoun "where".

The second issue with the sentence is, since we are talking about referring to a single female then you need to use the pronoun her.

Good luck. These are good practice questions.

All the best in the test.

BTW, these are not 700 level questions. I think they are sub 500 level.

I have a doubt here!
that idolized him Here THAT marks the beginning of a clause and its a Dependent Clause so use of semi colon is INAPPROPRIATE then why is C the right choice, even though it is not exactly separating two independent clauses ??

here, semicolon is joining two IC's:
IC1:The Confederate general Stonewall Jackson led a feared army that idolized him

IC2: they all mourned his ironic death from “friendly fire.”
