A, because "value will continue to increase as it has been" sounds fine, which it has been doesn't sound that good.
That's the best I can explain

CDE are definitely wrong.

...will continue to increase as it has increased....
done substitutes for increased
I go with B.

initally chose A but my second thought would be B

A is a faulty ellipse, "it has been (increased)", the ellipsed "increased" doesn't match the verb in the first sentence.

B use "done" to substitue "increased" is the right usage.

I have one idea...
because of the , before the underlined part i think it requires a which in the sentence...now as to why it is D and not C i dont know
but E it is obviously not
why were you guys so sure it wasnt C?

There has been much controversy about this question. I would scrap this one and not think about it. The quality is just sub-par and I disagree with the OA.

OA is actually B.

The value of the dollar in international markets will continue to increase, as it has done since interest rates began to rise.

Do replaces the verb increase rather than the chained verbs continue to increase in a sentence.

Agree with bmwhype2!

"which"introduces nonessential clauses. Here the sentence goes like this
Quote:
The value of the dollar in international markets will continue to increase, as it has been since interest rates began to rise.

B. as it has done
C. which it has
D. which it has been

EXPLAIN

Key word here is "Began"....so it must agree with "done". So has to be B

we using 'since' in non-underlined part, we have to use 'been'. So, B and C are out.
D and E are out because 'which' works on immediate noun before it which is 'increase'.
A is good.

B)

A is incorrect, it should be "as it has been increasing", they way it is there it's "as it has been increase". B makes clear the use of the present perfect.

Agree with Paul. I had chosen B though on this one. And I agree with BMW's explanation.

However this ain't GMAT stuff.
