C = 0.6M
When M = 10000, C = 6000
Now M = 20000, C = 12000
Therefore increase in Cookie Sales = 6000.

A. 10,000
B. 8,000
C. 6,000
D. 4,000
E. 2,000

Note : sales increased from 10000 to 20000. . Cookie sales are dependent on Muffin sales. Cookie sales are 60% of Muffin sales.

Case 1 : initial situation :

10000* 60 % = 6000

Case 2: when the situation changes :

20000 * 60% = 12000

So, Sales Increased by ( 12000 -6000) = 6000 .
